As cross media convergence among all manner of content creation and distribution becomes the norm; we look at some of the exciting cross utilization of tools within media and entertainment. Game engines are now used for story board, animation, as well as scenery. Motion capture and VR technologies are changing the face of content and performance going back to the historic holographic Tupac performance at Coachella in 2012. As seen with the purchase of 'Avatar' technology by James Cameron and the Weather Channel's much talked about use of 3D graphics showing Florence's storm surge; Georgia is a key player in this important space.
