TAG Corp Dev Presents: Executive Insights from the Payment Industry: Driving Growth through Innovation and Strategic Use of Capital

Description

The payments industry is undergoing massive transformation driven by technological advances, mobile / digital adoption, and changes in consumer and business expectations.  Fueling this is a wave of M&A and consolidation in payment processing, the rise of innovative fintech startups backed by investment capital, and the emergence of Big Tech as competitive players – all challenging the status quo and the incumbent operating order.

In this Executive Insights session we are joined by four executives of high profile VC/PE-backed and public payments companies – Fattmerchant, Payscape, Brightwell Payments, and Fleetcor – to learn about how they have used innovation, capital, and a customer-first philosophy to drive growth, shareholder value, and market presence. Each is a different company with a different story. Fattmerchant is an early-stage startup with a disruptive business model raising $10.5 million in its latest funding round last year led by Fulcrum Equity Partners. Payscape is a high-growth company that recently merged with NXGEN, backed by Parthenon Capital, to build and optimize scale. Brightwell is a digital financial services company experiencing rapid growth leveraging its investment from Navigation Capital Partners and Ellis Capital.  Fleetcor is a publicly traded Fortune 500 company with a B2B focus that has deployed over $8 billion in capital in over 75 acquisitions since 2000.
