An insightful conversation with industry leaders sharing their perspective regarding “why now” in terms of investing in the future.  They will identify how you corporately can make strategic investments now that will positively impact tomorrow’s workforce.  Our panelists will uniquely describe  1) the “fruits” of their efforts  2) the impact on the state economy and  3) specific awareness about what’s happening within the Department of Education as we discuss all the threads of workforce development.

Errika Moore Moderator Executive Director, TAG Education Collaborative

Errika Moore currently serves as the Executive Director for TAG-Ed (Technology Association of Georgia Education Collaborative) which focuses on K-12 STEM Advocacy throughout the state of Georgia. Errika has focused on workforce development for the past 20 years working as an HR Consultant and with organizations like IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) as the Vice President of Member Services and External Affairs, the Gifted Education Foundation as the Vice President of Operations, and an HR Strategist 
for Southwire. 

Sunshine Nance Panelist
VP Marketing & Commications, Boxlight

Sunshine Nance is Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Boxlight where she oversees all event marketing, community development, STEM programs, and intellectual property for the education technology solutions provider. Sunshine Nance began her career at Boxlight in 1996 and in 1999 co-developed and launched Boxlight’s consumer division which quickly grew to over $12M

Bryan Cox, Panelist
Computer Science Program Specialist, Georgia DOE

Bryan  Cox is responsible for bridging the gap between CS elective courses offered through CTAE and building a K-12 CS discipline. Prior to working for the GaDOE, Bryan spent 8 years as a High School STEM teacher, teaching math, computer science, and engineering courses, mostly within the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education department.  He has spent time working as a network designer and computer technician as well as working with after-school and summer youth programs.

Shannon Rivera, Panelist 
Program Manager, Global Technology Operations, WarnerMedia

Shannon Rivera is the Program Manager of Global Technology Operations Tech Internship Program at  Turner, (formerly Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc.) a division of WarnerMedia. Shannon serve as Program Manager for the GTO (Global Technology & Operations) Technology internship program that creates a pipeline of technical talent to address the need for critical skills in the organization and retain the next generation of technical leaders.
